At Jungbu Market, a wide assortment of dried food such as laver, seaweed, anchovies, yellow corbinas, squid, pollack, and dried filefish fillets are available at low prices. Known for both wholesale and retail sales, Jungbu Market offers goods at prices 20-30% lower than those found at other markets.
Each store only sells one or two types of seafood products, allowing for easy price comparison and top quality goods. Popular products include dried filefish fillets, laver, and Pollack. As of late, processed food has also started to make its way into the market.
The market is also a popular site for buying food items used in ancestral rites and general home goods. The market opens at 4am and most stores close around 5pm. By 6pm the market grounds are quiet and inactive, so make sure to go before 3pm so that you have enough time to shop and look around.
Seoul Jungang Market is a traditional market located east of Heunginjimun Gate (Dongdaemun). The market dates back to 1957, a few years after the Korean War.

Hwanghak-dong Flea Market is a market located in the neighborhood of Hwanghak-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, South Korea to sell second-hand goods. It has over 500 shops and stalls near Dongdaemun Market supplying a wide range of used products such as electronic appliances, clothes, and other items. The market is also called Dokkaebi Market (Korean: 도깨비시장, lit. “Goblin Market”). It is located behind Samil Apartment and Cheonggyecheon.
Incheon International Airport Passenger Terminal 2 will officially open on January 18, 2018.
The airport will be able to accommodate up to 18 million additional travelers with the opening of Terminal 2. In comparison to the current Terminal 1, Terminal 2 will allow departing travelers to check-in faster with its increased number of kiosks and self-bag drop services. Also, the distance between Terminal 2 and its transportation center is shorter than that of Terminal 1 so that visitors can have convenient access to transportation.
A shuttle bus will depart every 5 minutes from each terminal, serving as the main transportation between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. The current Airport Railroad and airport limousine buses will also extend their routes to include Terminal 2, stopping by at Terminal 1 on the way. Not only will the food court and restaurants serving international cuisines please the travelers at Terminal 2, exhibition halls and an observatory deck offering a view of the departure terminal and airport runways will easily help pass time at the airport.
Take note that Korean Air, Delta, Air France, and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will be the only airlines offering services at Terminal 2 upon its opening. Departing travelers are advised to double check their airlines and flight number before heading to the airport as passengers who are not traveling with the aforementioned airlines will not be able to check-in at Terminal 2.
